SecureII OnlyDisk InstallationThe installation of SecureII OnlyDisk includes driver installation on Windows 98 and application installation. 2.1 Driver Installation
5、 on Windows 98SecureII OnlyDisk uses the default driver of the operating system and requires no driver installation on Windows Me/2000/XP, Mac OS 9.x/Mac OS X and Linux 2.4.x. It is required to install the driver on Windows 98 and all the driver files are contained in a single CD-ROM. 1) Boot Window
6、s 98.2) Insert the CD-ROM into the drive.3) Plug SecureII OnlyDisk into the USB port of the PC and the system would automatically detect a USB device at once. “Add New Hardware Wizard” dialog appears. 7、drivers, or search for the best driver. Select the option “Search for the best drivers for your device (Recommended)”, and click “Next” to continue. Just click the installation file “setup.exe” under the directory SecureII OnlyDiskToolsFormat Tool, the installation would complete automatically. Meanwhile, a new icon appears on the desktop and the “S

How to Use SecureII OnlyDiskSecureII OnlyDisk generally works as an ordinary storage disk. Moreover, it supports the functions of system
11、 booting and user password with the applications offered by Netac. SecureII OnlyDisk is set user password 1111 as default. Following are steps on how to unlock it: a) Plug SecureII OnlyDisk into the USB port. “Removable Disk” appears in “My Computer” representing SecureII OnlyDisk. You will find the
12、 file ”passid” in it if you try to access. (Fig. 3.1) Fig. 3.1b) Click the file “passid” and the wizard below appears prompting for user password.
