28、comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International

29、Standards, Technical Specifications, Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC Publication(s)”). 43、ical Commission IEC 60068-2-60:2015 IEC 2015 5 ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING Part 2-60: Tests Test Ke: Flowing mixed gas corrosion test 1 Scope This part of IEC 60068-2 determines the corrosive inf luence of operating and storage indoor environments on electrotechnical products components, equipment and mat

44、erials, particularly contacts and connections, considered separately, integrated into a subassembly or assembled as a complete equipment. It provides test methods giving inf ormation, on a comparative basis, to aid the selection of materials, choice of production processes and component design, with

45、 regard to corrosion resistance. A guide to the selection of methods and test duration is provided in Annex C. 2 Normative ref erences The f ollowing documents, in whole or in part, are normatively ref erenced in this document and are indispensable f or its application. For dated ref erences, only t

48、y system and means f or measuring gas concentration. Details of design and construction are optional but shall be such that the conditions specif ied f or each method are f ulf illed throughout the working volume and shall comply with the f ollowing requirements: water droplets or aerosols shall not

49、 be injected into the test enclosure; air and water used shall be suf f iciently clean in order not to af f ect perf ormance of the test; the test atmosphere shall f low through the enclosure in such a manner as to ensure unif orm test conditions within the working volume; the sampling point f or ga

50、s analysis shall be in the working volume of the test enclosure; the exhaust gases shall be treated in accordance with the relevant regulatory stipulations; the wet bulb pod shall be placed in the test chamber in such a manner not to exceed 0,1 % of the cross-section of the test chamber.
